Author
My name is RJ, I’m a medical student and wheelchair user based in Canada. I saw the need for this resource after having my own struggles obtaining adaptive equipment, wheelchairs, and home rehab supports. I have heard from too many new wheelchair users that they were ordered chairs they did not want. Many being ordered non-active wheelchairs and being disappointed when the equipment arrives. I hope that this resource can be used to bridge a knowledge gap that exists between equipment users, providers, and manufacturers.
